Terms & Conditions
All orders and contracts are accepted subject to the following Terms and Conditions of Sale to the exclusion of any other Terms and Conditions, and may not be altered unless agreed in writing by a Director of the Company.
Prices
All prices quoted are subject to VAT. Prices quoted are valid for a period of 14 days from date of quotation. We reserve the right to amend prices quoted should specifications, or any other requirements change from original quotation. We reserve the right to increase prices to reflect increased costs at any time prior to delivery. Prices are subject to change without prior notice.
Deliveries
On receipt of your delivery, goods should be thoroughly inspected and any issues with incomplete, damaged or incorrect deliveries notified to the Company within 24 hours of receipt. Any damaged parcels should be signed for as 'damaged'.
Whilst we do everything possible to deliver within the specified timescales, timescales can be used as a guide only. SSP Direct Ltd can take no liability for late deliveries, or any cost involved. If using tradesperson or contractor, we would always recommend that you are in receipt of goods prior to booking their services. Likewise, if you are a tradesperson or contractor you should be in receipt of products before booking jobs in.
Returns
In the event that the product ordered is no longer required, it may be returned by contacting us and obtaining a returns reference number and form to complete. Returns will be at the expense of the client and return requests must be made within 14 days of delivery and the return made within 14 days of the return request. Returns received after this date will be returned to sender. Returned items must be identified externally with a returns number and be in the original packaging and condition as when despatched from our warehouse.
Refunds will be issued once goods are quality checked and will be made back onto the card that was used to make the initial purchase. If items are returned and an exchange is made no restocking fee will be applied. If no exchange is made a restocking charge of 15% will be applied to business customers.
Personalised products are exempt from our returns policy, these include items such as bespoke signs, bespoke cages, engraved items, personalised visitor books and systems. Security removal tools and keys are also exempt. Where appropriate, artwork will be emailed for your approval prior to production.
Installation
Any fixing and installation details referred to on this website are to be assumed as advisory only, as materials and external conditions etc. can vary. We would always recommend getting an expert to carry out the installation and consulting a structural engineer where necessary. We are a supplier of products only and any product suitability and instailation work would be down to your own risk assesment and/or consultation with an expert where necesary.
Specifications and Publications
In the interests of ongoing product development the Company reserves the right to change product specifications without prior notice. All literature is subject to change without notice.
Governing Law
In the event of any dispute arising between the Company and its customers, it is deemed that any such dispute will be settled according to English Law.
